Today Bank of America Merrill Lynch released a new tool fortreasury teams and commercial-card program managers. Online AccountRequest is designed to streamline the process of requesting acommercial card, and it reduces the processing time for cardapplications by up to 50 percent, according to the bank.Commercial-card program managers can directly enter theirinformation into the tool, which saves time over manual processingof applications and reduces the risk of human error. They can alsouse electronic approval workflows to create robust processcontrols.
