The Commodity Futures Trading Commission on Monday approved ameasure that provides foreign regulators with easier access toU.S. swaps data, Reuters reports. On a 3-2 vote, the CFTC agreedunder certain circumstances to waive a requirement that foreignregulators sign an indemnification agreement before using the swapsdata, an agreement that could expose them to lawsuits.
