Democrat: We can win the House in 2014

In a three-page memo sent to his fellow lawmakers, Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee Chairman Steve Israel said that he thinks the Democrats are in a strong position to win control of the House during the mid-term elections of 2014. Israel stopped short of saying the Democrats would retake the House, but he did say that he felt Democrats were in a stronger position now than they were at this stage during the 2012 elections, and that the party was on track to defeat the GOP and to send the Tea Party “into the dustbin of political history.”
