Dan Inveen and Eliza De Pardo, two former Moss Adams LLP consultants, announced the formation of a new consulting firm called FA Insight that its two principals said is designed to carry on the Moss Adams penchant for providing a “reliable source of business benchmarking information.” Based in Tacoma, Washington, the new firm will provide consulting services and primary research for RIAs, broker/dealers, custodians, associations, and other firms.
Inveen will be director of research at FA Insight, while De Pardo will be director of consulting, providing assistance on all areas of human capital, especially compensation planning and organizational structure, along with strategic planning, operating model development, and marketing.
Inveen ran the marketing research operations at Russell Investment Group before joining Moss Adams, where as senior research manager he managed the annual Moss Adams Studies of the advisory universe. He wrote a feature article for Investment Advisor on the most recent Study in the October issue of Investment Advisor http://www.investmentadvisor.com/Issues/2008/October%202008/Pages/The-Architects.aspx) and delivered the findings of the 2008 study at the December Investment Advisor Moss Adams Advisor Summit, along with former colleagues Rebecca Pomering, Philip Palaveev, and Mark Tibergien.
