A Midwestern insurer says the time seems to be right for getting back to insurance basics.

Thrivent Financial for Lutherans, Minneapolis, is introducing a group of 4 new whole life products, including 2 traditional whole life products, a single-premium whole life product, and a survivor whole life product that will cover 2 individuals and pay benefits when the second insured dies.
