A large managed care company is now providing employee assistance plan services for all group health customers.

Aetna Inc., Hartford, says EAP services will be a standard part of fully insured coverage for groups with 2 to 50 employees as well as for larger groups.

The small group program will offer employers unlimited telephone consultations and access to Aetna Web-based work-life guides and databases.

Employees will get access to counselors through a toll-free telephone number and access to the Aetna EAP Web site, Aetna says.
