Munich Re Unit Changes Name

A U.S. subsidiary of Munich Reinsurance Company is renaming itself.

American Re-Insurance Company, Princeton, N.J., will become Munich Reinsurance America Inc. in September.

American Re’s holding company, American Re Corp., will become Munich Re America Corp.

Munich Re, Munich, acquired American Re in 1996.
