A lawmaker wants to coordinate health savings accounts with flexible spending accounts and health reimbursement arrangements.[@@]

The lawmaker, Rep. Eric Cantor, R-Va., has introduced the Flex HSAs Act, which would increase the amounts employees could contribute to HSAs and make HSAs work better with FSAs and HRAs, according to the Coalition on HSA Coordination, Washington, a group that has backed revisions to HSA program rules.

Watson Wyatt Worldwide, Washington, noted in 2004 that it was helping to put the coalition together, and Dutko Worldwide Inc., Washington, is handling lobbying for the group.

A copy of Cantor’s bill and the bill number were not immediately available.
