USI Holdings Corp. has acquired an Orlando, Fla.-based worksite services business from CBIZ Inc.[@@]
The worksite business helps enroll employees at large, multisite employers in benefit plans and sells the employees supplemental benefits.
The price of the deal and other deal terms were not immediately available, but USI, Briarcliff Manor, N.Y., a large insurance broker, says the unit generates about $6 million in annual revenue.
USI plans to fold the newly acquired unit into its own Custom Benefit Programs Inc. unit.
CBIZ, Cleveland, says it is selling the worksite business to focus on its core tax, payroll and benefits consulting operations.
