NU Online News Service, Aug. 28, 11:34 a.m. – Digital Insurance Inc., Atlanta, an employee benefits broker, has signed agreements to handle day-to-day sales and administration of health plans with 25 or fewer members for seven employee benefits brokers.

The brokers are Woodruff-Sawyer, San Francisco; Mack & Parker, Chicago; Waldman Brothers, Dallas; The Rains Group, Detroit; Allied Group Insurance Services, Detroit; Dobson-McOmber, Ann Arbor, Mich.; and J. Smith Lanier, West Point, Ga.

The brokers will be transferring more than $12 million in annual small-group premiums to Digital Insurance, Digital Insurance says.

Digital Insurance will support the small employers with an insurance sales and administration Web site, a call center, and account management teams that can help with matters such as enrollment and claims resolution.
