Tutor Perini Awarded $319 M in Road Contracts

SYLMAR, CA—Tutor Perini Corporation, a leading civil and building construction company, says its subsidiary, Lunda Construction, has recently been awarded three projects in Wisconsin and Minnesota collectively valued at approximately $319 million. These contracts will be included in the company’s reported third-quarter backlog.

Phase 1 – Zoo Interchange, I-94/US 45, Milwaukee, WisconsinContract value: approximately $198 million (Lunda’s portion: approx. $60 million)Owner: Wisconsin Department of TransportationScope: Lunda is part of a three-member joint-venture team that will construct the first phase of the Zoo Interchange, consisting of 14 bridges, 21 retaining walls, 11 noise walls, along with other miscellaneous structures. Construction is expected to begin in October 2014 with substantial completion expected in June 2016.
