Reed Hires Tattersall as Project Manager

CHICAGO-Reed Construction has hired Kevin Tattersall to work as project manager for the full-service construction firm. Tattersall comes from previous work as project manager at Turner Construction to work with Reed preparing estimates and proposals, purchasing trades, and drafting and negotiating trade contracts. He will also coordinate field activities and shop drawings, and manage design related issues.

“We are excited to have Kevin on board,” says William T. Birck, Reed CEO and president. “His experience, industry knowledge and his exceptional communication skills will provide a great value to our firm as well as our clients.” Tattersall has worked for five years in the construction industry.

In his work at Turner, Tattersall acquired significant experience in safety training, estimating and project management, attended frequent continuing education seminars to increase construction expertise, and received a staff award in 2007. Previous to Turner, Tattersall worked in residential construction and masonry. The Chicago resident received his bachelor of science degree from Illinois State University in industrial technology with an emphasis in construction management.
