Electronics Firm Buys 61,000-SF Headquarters

LOGAN TWP., NJ-Powell Electronics Inc. has acquired the 61,000-sf mixed-use building at 200 Commodore Dr. within the Commodore 295 Business Park. The property is located within the Swedesboro section of this South Jersey township, and the electronics distributor will consolidate its Philadelphia, Florida and California operations here, making the site its new headquarters.

The buyer was represented by Larry Bergen and Marc Isdaner, both directors and SVPs of Colliers Lanard & Axilbund in Philadelphia. The seller, the Dolan Group, was represented by brokers from Jackson Cross Partners, also of Philadelphia. Terms were not disclosed.

For Powell Electronics, the site will combine office space with production and warehouse operations previously conducted at the Florida and California locations. As part of its move, Powell has sold its existing, smaller facility near Philadelphia International Airport to Today’s Graphics Inc., which is similarly expanding and relocating within the metro Philadelphia region.
