Tech Firm Takes on Space at Reston Office Complex

RESTON, VA-A new tenant has signed a lease for space at Reston Office Campus, the 83,000-sf office and flex complex situated between Fairfax County Pkwy. and Reston Pkwy. Distributed Solutions Inc. will make its home in 13,800 sf within the enclave of four single-story buildings built between 1986 and 1988. CB Richard Ellis’s Terry Riley represented the new tenant, while Tom Kresce of Trammell Crow stood in for property owner KBS Realty Advisors.

Specific terms of the deal have not been released; however space in the oldest of the four structures–the18-year-old facility at 12350 Pinecrest Rd.–is being marketed for $17.50 per sf. Other tenants at the Reston Office Campus include the Annunciation Academy, Renal Care Associates, and New Year Tech Inc., which took on 9,700-sf of space in January.

DSI’s lease leaves the class B property nearly full with an average 92% occupancy level. “We look forward to meeting their space requirements as their company continues to grow,” KBS senior vice president Peter Potrykus says.
