One Columbus Center Gets New Occupant

VIRGINIA BEACH, VA-One Columbus Center has opened its doors to a new office tenant with Hargrove, Brockwell & Associates Architects’ recent commitment to 16,600 sf of office space in the 134,000-sf building. The architectural design and engineering firm will join a large roster of tenants that includes UBS Financial Services, law firm Wolcott, Rivers, Wheary, Basnight & Kelly PC, and real estate services concern Divaris Real Estate, which also serves as the manager and leasing agent for the property on behalf of owners Battlefield Associates One LLC and Columbus One LLC. Situated within the in-progress mixed-use, 17-block enclave known as the Town Center of Virginia Beach, One Columbus Center is an 11-story structure that was developed two decades ago in the city’s Central Business District. Until the $350 million Town Center’s development wraps up, One Columbus Center remains the only class A high-rise office building in Virginia Beach. Space at the property, which is over 60% occupied, goes for $20 per sf.
