50,000-SF Medical Office Plan Approved

TROY, MI-A site plan has been approved for a medical office building. The project will be built on the southeast corner of Livernois Avenue and South Boulevard in the city.

Al Shulin of Summit Property Management Corp. wants to build a 50,000-sf medical building with 425 parking spaces on the vacant 5.5 acres.

The plan for the two-story building must be consistent with the consent order and judgment of the Oakland County Circuit Court of 1986. The order, specific to the medical office area, requires the city council be given final site plan approval authority.

Also, two condominium projects are going through the state’s approval process to remove wetland areas.

The Michigan Department of Environmental Quality is taking public input on the proposed 89-unit Sanctuary of Brills Lake Site condominium development in Leoni Township, and the planned Bella Vista condos in Northville Township.

Both project plans include filling wetlands to create the condominiums.
