San Antonio Lender Expands to Austin

AUSTIN- Southwest Business Corp., a mortgage lender, has expanded to Austin from its San Antonio base. The company has opened an office in 3,000 sf at Colina West at 8834 Capital of Texas Highway.

Steve Builta, who manages the office, tells GlobeSt.com that the company conducted a restricted search for the office, trying to keep it to the northwest Austin area. SWBC Mortgage offers a variety of financial loan products and on-site application, funding and closing services. Builta, who has more than 15 years experience in the mortgage industry, joined SWBC in May.

Colina West is a 65,264-sf building at Capital of Texas Highway and Great Hills Trail in the northwest submarket. It was built in 1985.
