Soho Square Refurb to Test Office Rents

LONDON-The Swedish investor Asticus has completed its 61,113-sf office refurbishment at 20 Soho Square in London’s Soho district. The building is the only unit over 50,000 sf currently available in Soho, which is traditionally the home of London’s entertainment and advertising industries.

FPDSavills and Insignia Richard Ellis have won the leasing instruction. Adam Hetherington, head of West End leasing and development at FPDSavills, said: “This refurbishment has restored 20 Soho Square to an exceptionally high standard to provide modern and flexible office space. We are confident that this property will appeal to a wide range of prospective occupiers due to its premier West End location, size and visibility.”

“While a quoting rent has not yet been announced it is anticipated that the building will attract a rent in the mid to high £50′s ($75-$80) per square foot.”
