Spiration Triples Space With New Eastside Digs

REDMOND, WA- Spiration Inc. will be moving its headquarters to 15,000 sf in the First Choice Business Park. The Redmond-based medical-device manufacturer is presently headquartered in 5,000-sf at 154th Ave. NE, where it employs 17 people. A source at Spiration tells GlobeSt. the company will relocate during the first quarter of 2001. The move will allow the company to begin manufacturing its patented silicone rubber tubes for medical use.

The First Choice complex is comprised of three, one-story buildings, with 80,000 total sf. It is owned by First Choice Business Solutions, also headquartered here. IDD Aerospace, a manufacturer of small aircraft components, is another key tenant in the industrial park. Spiration would not comment on the term of the lease or the price paid. However, Zach Vall-Spinosa of the Bellevue office of Kidder, Mathews & Segner, the leasing agent, says 8,700 sf of space remain available at $0.65/sf for warehouse area, and $1.35/sf for offices.
