New Burba Hotel Network to Organize Investment Conferences

NEWPORT BEACH, CA-Jim Burba, a long-time organizer of hotel investment conferences, has formed the Burba Hotel Network, which will host several hospitality investment meetings next year. The firm has also launched a website (www.burba.com) with information about the conferences and links to lenders, brokers and industry-related organizations.

In July, Burba was named worldwide director of advisory services for Wimberly Allison Tong & Goo, a planning, design and consulting firm specializing in hospitality, leisure and entertainment. BHN will he headquartered at the firm’s offices here.

Conferences scheduled for 2001 include the Fifth Annual Latin American & Caribbean Hotel & Tourism Investment Forum, Jan. 15-16 and the 16th Annual Hotel Investment Conference, Jan. 16-18, both in Los Angeles. In addition, the International Hotel Investment Forum is set for Mar. 6-8 in Berlin, Germany and the Fifth Annual Caribbean Hotel & Tourism Investment Conference will be held Apr. 17-19 in Curacao, Netherlands Antilles.
