Graphic Arts Suppler Signs Long-Term Lease

Pitman Co., a graphic arts supplier, has signed a long-term lease as sole tenant of a 70,535-sf facility at Spring Lake Business Park in Itasca. The building at Irving Park Road and Interstate 290/Route 53 in Chicago’s western suburbs will serve as Midwest regional distribution center for Pitman.

Constructed in 1991, the one-story building offers 24-ft. clear height, four interior docks, a drive-in door, highway exposure and 12,000 sf of office space. Prentiss Properties represented itself in the transaction. Dan Fanelli of Darwin Realty & Development represented Pitman.

Pitman, founded in 1906, provides a full range of digital imaging processes, service and support as well as traditional pre-press and pressroom products. The company also offers products tailored specifically for the newspaper market and packaging industry. Headquartered in Totowa, NJ, Pitman has 24 locations across the country.
