Research Firm Expands with Full-Floor Cambridge Lease

CAMBRIDGE, MA-A company that started off in 2003 with 3,000 sf in Cambridge will take 10,692 feet when it relocates in June to 725 Concord Ave. just a block from its former location. Prometrika, a research organization serving the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, will move its headquarters from 30 Spinelli Pl. to its new headquarters in a full floor at the 85,000-sf Concord Avenue building.

Tucker Hansen with Meredith & Grew’s Boston office, tells GlobeSt.com that the 10-year lease gives the growing Prometrika added room for expansion along with a higher-profile location.”To lease nearly 11,000 sf meant a lot,” says Hansen. “It gave them room to grow and also gave them a full-floor identity.” Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but Hansen says space in the building generally rents in the upper-teens.

Hansen and Joe Flaherty, also with Meredith & Grew, represented the tenant while Robert Fitzgerald, with CB Richard Ellis’ Boston office, handled the negotiations for the building owner, KBS Realty Advisors.
