RiverRock Wins Management Contract

IRVINE, CA-RiverRock Real Estate Group has won the management assignment for an approximately 140,000-sf multi-tenant industrial park consisting of four warehouse and distribution buildings on Los Nietos Road at Dice Road in Santa Fe Springs that are 100% leased to 16 tenants. The industrial park, which was developed in the 1990s, formerly was managed by Essex property management and is owned by an offshore investor.

The new assignment expands RiverRock’s portfolio of property under management to approximately 2.2 million sf, according to John Combs, founder and principal of the recently formed company, which is based in Irvine. Combs was formerly president of U.S. property services for Insignia/ESG Inc. before its recent merger with CB Richard Ellis. In addition to the new industrial park assignment, the company’s properties under management include office and medical space in Los Angeles and Orange counties. Combs established the company with a staff of nine, and he told GlobeSt.com in a recent interview that he anticipates that number will grow to 15 by the end of the year.
