Industrial Building Completed in Miami

MIAMI-The nearly 200,000-sf building was finished last week at 5900 NW 97th Ave. in the Airport West submarket. The spec condo development is planned to be sold to multiple buyers.

MIAMI-A nearly 200,000-sf industrial building was completed last week in the Airport West submarket here. The property owner is Doral Commerce Park Ltd., whose general partners are Alliance Commercial principal Robert Cambo and Paul Douglas of Douglas Development Group in Miami.

The expected completion date was April, but the project was delayed just slightly. Totaling 199,880 sf, the building is located at 5900 NW 97th Ave. It is not being leased, but is a spec condo development that’s being sold to multiple buyers. Alliance Commercial of Miami is exclusively marketing the property.

The building joins 45.85 million sf of total inventory in the Airport West submarket of the Miami-Dade County industrial market, according to Cushman & Wakefield’s first-quarter report. The Miami-Dade industrial market remained relatively flat first quarter, with the overall vacancy rate staying the same, 9.4%, in the first quarter as in the same period last year.
