FORT WORTH-Two well-known North Texas executives are settling into their new offices in an affiliation switch that puts them in as principals at NAI Stoneleigh Huff Brous McDowell, perhaps Fort Worth’s oldest and largest brokerage firm. Changes also have come at Transwestern, Fischer & Co. and McCarthy Building Cos.

William G. Behr and Leland A. Prowse IV moved over from Trammell Crow Co.’s Fort Worth office, vacating roles as senior vice president and vice president, respectively. NAI Stoneleigh, though, didn’t stop with those two and hired Steve Wilkerson and Rick Hopwood as director and senior director, respectively, to take the office’s head count to 45.

Behr, with more than 20 years in the business, has a track record of completions in excess of 500 deals totaling more than $200 million and 3.5 million sf plus. His specialty is representing owners of institutional quality investment properties, investors and corporate tenants.

Prowse too has more than 20 years’ experience. He carries a clients’ black book that’s virtual Who’s Who of financial services firms, transportation leaders and commercial aviation top names.

Wilkerson, a 12-year veteran, focuses on office markets in Mid-Cities and Las Colinas. He had development and logistical expertise, spending 10 years as the in-house rep for International Paper.

Hopwood’s record consists of 250 deals in excess of $265 million for a total of 2.1 million sf. He got his start in Houston and moved to Fort Worth in 1983, where he operated a new development firm specializing in office retail and historical restorations.

With the additions, NAI Stoneleigh also switched office locations. It now takes up 10,500 sf at City Center II in Fort Worth’s CBD in a move from 201 Main St.

Transwestern Commercial Services promoted Jim Gaspard to senior vice president of development services and Patricia Marbury to vice president of financial services.

Gaspard, a 23-year professional, is overseeing development and construction for office, retail, industrial and corporate build-to-suits. He’s developed in excess of $200 million in projects and directed a portfolio management team for 850,000 sf of class A office space in the 11 years he’s been with Transwestern.

Marbury has 13 years in the business. She is vice president and controller, tasked with regional oversight of accounting policies and procedures.

Fischer & Co. hired a trio in recent months, the newest being Paul Taby, brought on board as managing director for the ManagePath software application for Fischer Solutions. He has 15 years’ experience with corporate and equity real estate software solutions. Fischer & Co. also hired Rhonda Toming, formerly with Staubach Financial Services, as senior vice president and Barbara B. Womble as vice president of business development.

McCarthy named a new senior estimator, Frank Kurtz, for the Texas Division. His background includes projects such as the Lake Ray Hubbard Interstate 30 bridge and portions of Central Expressway.
