ATLANTA-Invensys, the Raleigh, NC-based energy services provider, hires three executives to head regional offices as it rolls out its newly formed commercial and industrial property business segment.

The segment was formed to deliver comprehensive energy management systems to commercial and industrial property developers and managers nationwide.

Jim Menton, former executive vice president and co-founder of Newton, MA-based ChooseEnergy, is market development manager for the Eastern US. ChooseEnergy is an application service provider in the energy field. Menton will be based in Boston.

Paul Stack, former manager of business development for Milwaukee-based Johnson Controls’ utility services group, is market director for the Central states. He is a licensed professional engineer and will be based in Milwaukee.

Glenn Sharp, former sales manager of San Francisco-based Chevron Energy Solutions’ power systems business, is market development manager for the West. He will be based in San Francisco.

In a printed statement announcing the appointments, Bob Williams, vice president of Invensys, says, “For the first few months, we are focusing on the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic corridor, Chicago and the Midwest, and California and the Pacific Northwest for two major reasons: These regions have an important concentration of large property developers and they have significantly higher-than average energy costs.”

The parent company of Invensys is based in London.
