North Jersey Teamsters Acquire New HQ

NORTH HALEDON, NJ-The Northern New Jersey Teamsters Benefit Plan has acquired the 16,000-sf, four-story office building at 810 Belmont Ave. here, from Haledon Heights Realty Inc. The organization will take occupancy during the last quarter of this year, and will consolidate its operations from two other locations in the northern part of the state.

David Stifelman, David DeMatteis and Geoffrey Silverstein of Cushman & Wakefield of NJ, East Rutherford, arranged the acquisition for the new owner. Ken Abdy if Abdy Realty represented the seller. The terms of the sale, including the price, were not disclosed.

The trio from Cushman & Wakefield is also marketing for sale the two facilities that the Northern New Jersey Teamsters Benefit Plan will vacate. The first, located nearby at 830 Belmont Ave., is currently under contract. The second, at 1 Cardinal Drive in Little Falls, NJ, has just been put on the market.
