Two New Leases Total 36,000 SF at Principal-Owned Facility

ROSELAND, NJ-Jonathan Meisel and Richard Baumstein of the East Rutherford, NJ office of Cushman & Wakefield, who have the exclusive for the property, have arranged two lease transactions totaling 36,000 sf at 425 Eagle Rock Ave. here. The 127,000-sf class A building, owned by Principal Life, currently has 25,000 sf available. Tenants in the four-story building, which is part of the I-280 Corporate Center, include the New Jersey Society of CPAs, and the law firm of Marshall, Dennehy, Warner, Coleman & Goggin.

In the first transaction, MetLife expanded by 6,000 sf and extended its lease, which now totals 24,000 sf. Grubb & Ellis represented MetLife, which uses the space as regional offices for its financial group.

Also, the law firm of Post Polak, Goodsell & MacNeill leased 12,000 sf for its headquarters. The 27-year-old firm is relocating from another Roseland location in an expansion move.
