Timberline Wants Larger Piece of Real Estate Market

BEAVERTON, OR-Timberline Software Corp., a publicly trade developer of accounting and cost estimating software, is increasing its commitment to the Real Estate marketplace this week by hiring a veteran of construction and management software to further its efforts in the arena.

Jim Tudrick, the company’s new vice president of real estate products, will be responsible for overall product direction, including pursuing new business opportunities in the real estate marketplace. “We are in the sweet spot for the mid-market with a breadth of product including conceptual estimating, construction management, operations and lease support, service management and more recently investment management,” says Tudrick.

Tudrick spent nine-plus years at J.D. Edwards & Company, one of the leading suppliers of business software solutions, where he served as vice president of Service Industries Vertical Support Group, and as director of operations for their construction and real estate business unit. There he had responsibility for product development, client support, sales and marketing for the company’s real estate solutions.

Tudrick also served as regional vice president with Jonas & Erickson Software, which provided accounting, construction and real estate solutions to the mid-market. “Jim is the perfect complement to our continued commitment to the real estate industry and brings the leadership and entrepreneurial skills necessary for Timberline to significantly increase our share in this market,” says Timberline president and CEO Curtis Peltz.
