Industrial Parks See Sales, Build-To-Suit

WAUKEGAN, IL-A purchase and build-to-suit are among recent industrial deals in this city between Chicago and Milwaukee. Telefonics bought a 43,507-sf building at 2340 Ernie Krueger Circle for $1.1 million while Goodman Packaging Equipment has taken a 64,000-sf building at at 1081 Northpoint Blvd. in the Northpoint Business Center.

Keith Puritz and Brett Kroner of Cushman & Wakefield’s Rosemont office represented California-based Avery Dennison Corp. in the sale of 2340 Ernie Krueger Circle in the Waukegan-Gurnee Industrial Park to Telefonics, which was represented by Todd Benson and Whit Heitman of Paine/Wetzel.

McShane Construction Corp. completed the office and manufacturing facility for Goodman Packaging Equipment, a leading manufacturer of case and tray packing systems for top-loading products. The company is moving from north suburban Lake Forest. Cary Goldman and Adam Raffel of Epic/Savage Realty Partners represented Goodman Packaging. Hank Mawicke, Jack Rosenberg and Chris Volkert, of Colliers, Bennett & Kahnweiler, represented McShane Corporation and Avgeris and Associates in the $1.7-million land sale to Goodman Packaging.
