Metris to Open Operations Center in Duluth

DULUTH, MN-The 20,000-sf center formerly occupied by United Health Care will be the eighth location for the Minnetonka, MN-based credit card marketer. The center opens in October.

DULUTH, MN-Metris Cos. says it plans to open a new operations center here in October. The operations center will be located at 4628 Mike Colalillo Dr. in the 20,000-sf building formerly occupied by United Health Care.

The new Duluth facility will serve as a collections center and will accommodate more than 200 collections representatives and management personnel by early 2002. The new center will be eighth location for the Minnetonka, MN-based marketer of credit cards.

The company is also adding 150 positions to its collections department at its headquarters in Minnetonka.
