IntelliSpace Launching Internet Services in London and Paris

NEW YORK CITY-IntelliSpace, a provider of broadband Internet access for businesses, is launching fiber-optic networks in London and Paris. The firm, based here, has wired more than 85 million sf of office space since 1995. “Europe is undergoing its own Internet explosion, similar to the one experienced in the US during the past few years,” says Marc Josephson, founder and CEO. “Just as New York has been the gateway to the rest of the US for us, so will these two markets be our gateway to the rest of Europe,” he adds.

The company offers bandwidth with speeds of up to 10 gigabits per second, 20,000 times faster than ADSL. It also offers clients what it calls eValve service, the ability to control Internet access speed, enabling them to change the speed of their connections in less than a minute. They can use the increased capacity for any amount of time they want and pay only for the bandwidth they use.

IntelliSpace’s service is available London now and will begin operating in Paris during the fourth quarter.
