GiantBear.com Moves Out of Shared Space

WHITE PLAINS, NY-GiantBear.com, a Web and wireless communications firm, has signed a long-term sublease for 27,861 sf at 709 Westchester Ave. The company will relocate from space it shared nearby at 711 Westchester Ave. with LiveWire, an affiliated firm. Insignia/ESG represented GiantBear.com in its long-term sublease transaction with Charter Communications. The 709 Westchester Ave. building totals 119,100 sf and is owned by EastRidge Properties. Neither financial details nor the term of the lease were disclosed.

GiantBear.com is a Web-to-wireless content exchange and information management portal for Wireless Application Protocol-enabled wireless phones and other devices. GiantBear’s application allows wireless carriers to offer subscribers personal Web content preferences.

GiantBear.com was founded by wireless communications veterans Steven Price and Stuart Rosenstein, who ran PriCellular Corp. prior to operating LiveWire, a software and Internet firm that provides services for media, telecommunications and new media companies. The firm provides Internet-based customer management and billing software solutions principally for wireless carriers.
