Jets Team Doctor Leases in Scarsdale

While it is not known if New York Jets Quarterback Vinny Testaverde will stop by to soak his sprained big toe, New York Jets team doctor Steven Nicholas has signed a lease for space at Two Overhill Road in Scarsdale. Dr. Nicholas and Dr. Stuart Katchis, orthopedic surgeons associated with the Sports Medicine Center at Lenox Hill Hospital, signed a deal for 5,600 sf of space that will be used for medical offices and a physical therapy center, reports Eric Goldschmidt, senior partner of Scarsdale-based Goldschmidt & Associates, who brokered the deal.

He notes that the deal is the first lease transaction at the building, which is undergoing a $5 million renovation by owners Celestial Capital Group of New York City and Blitman Construction of Port Chester.

Goldschmidt adds that another three leases are in negotiations for an additional 10,000 sf at the 62,000 sf property that is located nearby the Scarsdale railroad station. Goldschmidt and Associates and Austin Corporate Properties of Rye Brook are co-brokers on the property.
