PIANY names Ruchman Professional Agent of the Year

N. Stephen Ruchman

The Professional Insurance Agents of New York Inc. will present N. Stephen Ruchman, with the Professional Agent of the Year award at the PIANY/PIANJ Joint Annual Conference at the Trump Taj Mahal Casino Resort in Atlantic City on June 9.

A PIANY member since 1978, Ruchman served as president in 2004 and 2005, as first vice president in 2002 and 2003, and vice president in 2000 and 2002. In 2001, Ruchman received the PIANY Louis A. Morelli Memorial Award. In 2000, he received the PIANY Committee Chair of the Year.

Ruchman is president of Ruchman Associates Inc. Ruchman serves as chairperson of the association’s Long Island Advisory Council. He is a member of the Nominations and Membership/Programs Committees and the Governing and Executive branches of PIANY’s Political Action Committee.
