Gallagher Acquires Babcock Consulting
|NU Online News Service, Nov. 24, 11:27 a.m.EST?Itasca, Ill.-based insurance broker Arthur J. Gallagher &Co. has acquired Babcock Consulting Inc. of Metairie, La. Terms ofthe transaction were not disclosed.
|Established in 1997, Babcock Consulting offers employee benefitconsulting and brokerage services that include benefit plancustomization, financial analysis, legislative compliance andemployee communication support.
|Clayton Babcock and his associates will continue to operate outof their current office under the direction of David Ziegler,executive vice president-eastern region of Gallagher BenefitServices Inc., a subsidiary of AJG.[@@]
