Pundits Slated For IIABA Conference
|NU Online News Service, May 24, 11:55 a.m.EST?Political columnist Mark Shields and WeeklyStandard editor Fred Barnes are scheduled to debate publicpolicy issues during a political roundtable at the IndependentInsurance Agents & Brokers of America's upcoming New OrleansInfoXchange.
|Mr. Shields writes for the Washington Post andmoderates CNN's "The Capital Gang," as well as hosting "Evans,Novak, Hunt & Shields," also on CNN. In addition, he serves asan analyst for The Newshour with Jim Lehrer on PBS.
|Mr. Barnes, founder of The Weekly Standard, is a hostof FOX News' "The Beltway Boys," as well as chief correspondent onPBS' "National Desk," and moderator of "Issues in the News" and"What's the Story" on The Voice of America radio network.
|Mr. Shields and Mr. Barnes are set to appear with IIABA ChiefExecutive Officer Robert A. Rusbult, during the conference closinggeneral session Sept. 24.
