WHAT WE’RE WATCHING

ALGORITHMIC NATION – We’re a long time away from robot judges—but that doesn’t mean machines aren’t already influencing criminal justice decisions. In fact, many courts and correctional departments around the U.S. use risk assessment tools when considering pretrial release, sentencing, or probation and parole.
