For this year’s China 40 research, twelve firms reported valid profit figures, and so for the first time ever, we have a sneak peek of leading Chinese firms’ profits per equity partner (PEP).

Han Kun, which has 30 equity partners, had the highest reported PEP of $1.435m -  on a global level, that is above both Baker McKenzie ($1.3m) and Hogan Lovells ($1.255m).
