New York heavyweight Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton has stepped up its European push with the recruitment of Clifford Chance’s (CC’s) much-touted Brussels managing partner Laurent Legein.
As first revealed on legal-week.com (2 November), the 38-year-old corporate lawyer, a partner with CC since 2001, is to join Cleary’s Brussels arm on 14 November.
