The legal profession is proving a slow convert to the controversial practice of ‘offshoring’ back office functions abroad, according to new research, despite the majority of commercial lawyers supporting the idea in principle.
The latest Legal Week/ EJ Legal Big Question survey of 100 commercial lawyers found that only 2% of polled firms currently outsource part of their back office functions to developing countries.
