UK law firms have fallen out of the ranks of France’s most profitable practices, according to new research that underlines the dominance of the lucrative Paris law market by domestic players and US entrants.

The research, by French publication Decideurs, shows Paris corporate leaders Darrois Villey Maillot Brochier and Bredin Prat taking first and second positions with revenue per fee earner figures of €871,000 (£592,500) and €709,100 (£482,400) respectively.
