This month’s Legal Week poll of more than 50 corporate counsel reveals a huge majority of senior in-house lawyers are confident that their internal budgets will either grow or remain stable. In a survey looking at which issues are currently concerning senior corporate counsel the most, having the legal team budget cut came bottom of the pile of worries.

Sixty-three percent of respondents cited budget cuts as their smallest concern, with a quarter of respondents ranking the concern in the middle of the six options provided. The results of the poll reflect a general confidence among corporate counsel that their employers are recognising the need for strong legal teams as part of the overall corporate structure.
