The $3.4 billion Redwood Credit Union based inSanta Rosa, Calif., hired Reid Louie asassistant vice president/regional manager of branch operations forMarin. In his new role, Louie will provide leadership and guidanceto branch managers, oversee staff development and training, anddevelop and implement RCU branch goals, promotions, and strategiesfor the credit union's Marin County branches. Louie has 20 years oflocal banking and management experience.

The $653 million Leominster Credit Union inLeominster, Mass., announced Lydia Vazquez,assistant vice president of residential lending and fair lendingcompliance has been named a Credit Union Rising Star by theCooperative Credit Union Association. The Credit Union Rising StarAward honors outstanding New England credit union employees underthe age of 50 who make notable impact in their institutions or thecredit union industry. Since joining LCU, Vazquez has created afair lending program, CRA monitoring systems and regulatorytraining sessions.

The $135 million Montgomery County Employees FederalCredit Union in Germantown, Md., appointed JorgeSaenz as chief development and engagement officer. Saenzwill manage the credit union's business development initiativeswhile also overseeing digital banking engagement and projectimplementation for member services. Saenz brings more than 13 yearsof experience in various credit union operational, training,marketing, development and management roles to the position.

The $890 million St. Mary's Bank inManchester, N.H., the nation's first credit union, hiredBrenda Hoefle as residential loan originator.Hoefle brings 20 years of experience in the residential housingindustry, including home sales, new construction, and mortgagelending to the position. She knows how important the rightfinancing option is for borrowers and uses her extensive knowledgeof the many financing programs available to provide highlypersonalized attention in meeting borrower goals.

The $235 million Members Plus Credit Union inMedford, Mass., hired Michael Jordan to helpoversee and direct all aspects of the credit union's branchoperations, to ensure efficient process and delivery of qualitymember service in all interactions, as well as oversee complianceand all automated systems utilized by the credit union. Jordan hasmore than 20 years of leadership experience in credit union andbank management.

Kristin Dailey, manager of the High Pointlocation of the $2.2 billion Truliant Federal CreditUnion in Winston-Salem, N.C., was named to the advisoryboard for the High Point Chamber of Commerce. The High PointChamber of Commerce exists to assist and grow a prosperous businessenvironment and thriving workforce while standing as a united voicefor business in the Triad area. On the advisory board, Dailey willparticipate in community events, partner with local businesses andschools and support Forward High Point, Leadership High Point andother city initiatives that support local growth anddevelopment.

The $1.3 billion Barksdale Federal Credit Unionin Bossier City, La., selected John Weaver asexecutive vice president. Weaver has served as the credit union'sCFO since 2008 and will continue in this role serving as executivevice president/CFO. Before becoming the CFO, Weaver served asthe credit union's accounting manager and vice president ofaccounting since March of 2003. Prior to coming to BarksdaleFederal he served in various financial and accounting rolesincluding CFO and controller for American 3CI, and as controllerfor Cellxion, Inc.

The $1 billion SAFE Federal Credit Union in Sumter,S.C., named Jay Montgomery vice president ofoperations. Montgomery, who's been with the credit union for nineyears, succeeds Michael Baker, who recently moved up to theexecutive vice president position at SAFE. After joining SAFE as amanagement trainee following graduation from the University ofSouth Carolina, Montgomery moved into branch management. He servedas a branch manager at multiple locations before becoming aregional branch director.
