I just read the Editor's Column of Sept. 11 and was surprised bycomments regarding issues unrelated to credit unions, i.e. U.S.foreign relations and the president.  Althoughthese items may indicate a general tendency these days towardprevarication, in my opinion, Credit Union Timesshould stay away from areas unrelated to credit union issues, particularly those in today's highlycharged political arena. The Timesshould, in my view, even in editorial comments, concentrate onusing credit union examples to make points as you did with theMarkland statement and the investment banking example. Ifother examples are necessary to make a point, and a credit unionone is not available, I would suggest finding one that avoidspolitical controversy.
