Fifty-nine employee volunteers from the $2.2 billion RedwoodCredit Union in Santa Rosa, Calif., participated in the North Bayarea's annual United Way Week of Caring by helping out at severalevents during two weeks in September. The work included gardening,cleaning, painting and even helping to restore native grasslands atcommunity gardens, children's shelters and nature preserves, andmore, at sites in four California counties. The 187,200-membercredit union also said that its employee giving campaign raisedmore than $95,000 for United Way for the second consecutiveyear.
