To mark the granting of its first SBA Patriot Express loan,Financial Resources FCU has helped a veteran of the U.S. Navy makethe transition to entrepreneur.
|Michael Eosso said he will use the loan to help open hischiropractic office in Branchburg, N.J., according to the $400million credit union in Bridgewater.
|“This loan has allowed me to get office space and purchasenecessary equipment … for that, I am very grateful,” Eossosaid.
|Earlier this year, Financial Resources FCU said it became thefirst credit union in the area to be a part of the Patriot Express Pilot Loan Initiative program created by theSBA to help veterans and other members of the military communityestablish or expand small businesses.
|Marc Sovelove, senior vice president of lending, said he and hismember business lending team worked closely with Eosso to make theloan process more accessible and easy to use.
|In addition to approving its first Patriot Express loan, thecredit union was recently approved as an SBA Preferred Lender.
