To mark the granting of its first SBA Patriot Express loan,Financial Resources FCU has helped a veteran of the U.S. Navy makethe transition to entrepreneur.

Michael Eosso said he will use the loan to help open hischiropractic office in Branchburg, N.J., according to the $400million credit union in Bridgewater.

“This loan has allowed me to get office space and purchasenecessary equipment … for that, I am very grateful,” Eossosaid.

Earlier this year, Financial Resources FCU said it became thefirst credit union in the area to be a part of the Patriot Express Pilot Loan Initiative program created by theSBA to help veterans and other members of the military communityestablish or expand small businesses.

Marc Sovelove, senior vice president of lending, said he and hismember business lending team worked closely with Eosso to make theloan process more accessible and easy to use.

In addition to approving its first Patriot Express loan, thecredit union was recently approved as an SBA Preferred Lender.
