A new machine is helping to recycle old cash at the $529 million Great Lakes Credit Union's new branch in Zion, Ill.

The 41,000-member GLCU is using a cash recycler from ARCA of Mebane, N.C., integrated with its Symitar Episys teller software and the S4 cash management platform from CFM Inc. of Chandler, Ariz.

"We are able to help our members conduct their transactions quickly and more efficiently. It is now easy for tellers to begin their day helping members and end it without balancing a cash drawer," said Kristy Gray, manager of the Zion branch.
