VSoft Corp. is launching a new software-as-a-service version ofits image capture and processing platform and has landed ArizonaFederal Credit Union as the first user, the company and creditunion said.

The SaaS service will provide the same functionality as itsin-house solutions and will be operated through its VSoft ManagedServices data center, the Atlanta-based company said. The servicebureau model will allow the credit union to also take advantage ofthe company's disaster recovery and system maintenance capabilitieswhile keeping administration and daily operations in-house.

“Our SaaS model meets a strong demand in the financial industryto have the control needed to manage a complete imaging platformwithout having the capital expenditures and economic burden ofhardware maintenance,” said Murthy Veeraghanta, chairman andmanaging director of 1,900-client VSoft.
