Symitar has picked the core technology provider for its"virtual" users conference in August.
|The Aug. 26-27 conference will use the VirtualEvents365 platformfrom Computer Generated Solutions Inc. for the framework for thecore processor's 2009 Educational Conference & TechnologyExpo.
|Symitar had said earlier this year it would hold a "virtual"conference so representatives of its more than 600 credit unionclients wouldn't have to miss it because of budgetrestrictions.
|New York-based CGS's VirtualEvents365 provides a Web-basedenvironment that enables organizations to plan, promote, deliver,track and monetize a variety of events virtually, including usermeetings, conferences, job fairs, product launches and trainingprograms, the company said.
|John San Filippo, Symitar marketing manager, said, "We knewgoing into this that the key to success was finding the rightvirtual event platform."
|Educational sessions, social networking opportunities and anexhibit hall for vendors will all be part of the 2009cyber-expo.
